Updates and more.

Yay, finally able to get something up on this almost-dead page. Haha. I wouldn't want to call this page "dead" since I'm still using it, but not as frequently as usual (I usually frequent Twitter nowadays, teehee). Anyways, just wanna update you guys on some random stuff and more.

First of all, Merry (belated) Christmas everyone!! And a Happy 2010 ahead!! Just wanna say that in case I forget.

What did I do on Christmas? Went to church for a Christmas service, then went home to chill before heading to a friend's house for dinner, caroling and a time of sharing. A few days back the youth caroled for some old folks and the general public on the 22nd, did the same thing on the 24th, and did an impromptu encore performance during Christmas service. Haha.

And what's Christmas without some presents? Well, my mummy opted for a present-less Christmas this year (shocker!), but she did get something: a blue iPod Nano!! Just what I wanted! And the best part: most of the money paid for it came from my savings (shocker!!), but it's well worth it. Oh, and a few hours ago, my grandma gave me $50 as a late Christmas gift (thanks!!).

What will I be doing for NY2010? I may be joining family at their friends' house, then may join my own friends at another friend's house, and maybe sleep over (I think). Best part: due to NY festivites, Thursday school ends at 1pm instead of the usual 5pm, and there will be NO school from then to Sunday!! WOO-HOO!!

Yeah, speaking of NY festivities, there are quite a lot of movies coming out this Christmas/NY season. There was Avatar (the movie that everyone's raving about), and there's Sherlock Holmes (wanna catch that 'cause it looked cool) and, of course, you guys should know what I want to watch this season: Alvin and the Chipmunks 2!!

Oh yeah, and I'm kinda disappointed that Sezairi won Singapore Idol, just because it would be interesting for Sylvia to be the first female SI winner. Darn, I'm sticking to American Idol from now on.

La la la, ha ha ha... in my monologue.

On November 7 2009 Taylor Swift made her second appearance on US comedy show Saturday Night Live, serving as host and musical guest for the night. And I have to say, she ROCKED it! Here's are 2 highlights (and personally, my favourites) by Swift in the show.

Hosts usually open the show with a little monologue, but in this first clip Taylor takes it up a notch and put together a little song she calls "Monologue Song (La La La)". In the song she gives shout-outs to ex-BF Joe Jonas ("that guy who broke up with me on the phone"), rumoured BF Taylor Lautner ("the werewolf from Twilight") and speaks out about rapper Kanye "VMA Douchebag" West. Honestly, this does get in your head after a while.

This next clip comes from a little fake commercial for a little soundtrack for a little fake movie called Bunny Business and in this sketch Taylor does a SPOT-ON (emphasis intended)impersonation of Shakira. Now I'm starting to love her more.

See, I love Taylor Swift not only because she's a very good singer/songwriter; she turns out to be very good comedienne too!

Both blogs are up and running!!

Hey everybody.

Just wanna post this little announcement saying that both of my blogs (Blogger and LiveJournal) are back up and running together. In case you did not know, I've set up a seperate blog on LiveJournal during the time that Blogger went cuckoo on me. Now that Blogger is back to normal I have 2 blogs now: the first is this one on Blogger; and the other one on LJ, used to be also called "The Fascinating WANDER-land of RANDOM-ness", is now called "Moods Park: The Heart of the WANDER-land". So just wanna inform you guys about that. More updates soon, people!

So 五月天 (Mayday - one of my ultimate fave bands of all time) have concluded the Singapore leg of their "DNA World Tour" last Saturday, and let me tell you this: I regret not going!! I mean, Mayday concerts are so fun, so "high" and so explosive!! But even though I didn't go for the concert, I still like their music 'cause it's so upbeat and rock-ish and fun! Wassup people!! Notice anything different about my blog?? Yeah, I've removed the music because it's starting to experience some problematic technical difficulties. Haha. Also notice the (extra) long friends' blogs list. Wishlist and tagboard moved to the other side too!

USUAL UPDATE...

Wassup guys. Sorry if I've not been on for quite some time, but I'm back and I PROMISE that I will be more on now, ok??

First of all, a secret that I've been keeping for quite some time: Whenever I am bored and alone at home, I dance. Yes, I DANCE. Plus, here's the shocker: Most of the dances that I do are Jolin Tsai dances. WHAT??!! It's not like I can do a split or anything of that sort. But I do know some of her dances, the most recent one being for "大丈夫" (the first single from her "花蝴蝶" album). I know it's weird for a guy to do such things like these, but that's just who I am: I just like doing that, and maybe I blame it on Jolin's catchy beats and songs and addictive and easy-to-pick-up dance moves. Haha. Maybe I should dance more in future...

Also I've watched "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" some time ago, and I found it AWESOME!! I mean, most people might pan the flick for a lack of plot, but I say, even though there might be a lack of plot, director Michael Bay compensates that for what? Tons of explosions, that is, so I pretty much enjoyed myself in the conema. Thing to note though: I did not watch the first "Transformers" so I had to depend on this one only to give my review.

What else did I do?? The usual: school. DFUND lab test was yesterday, and I have to say, I;m kinda proud of myself. The test was fairly simple (except for the last question though), so I think I did pretty well and will pass it. CKT lab test is this Friday, so good luck to me for that. Also I just found out that exams are around the corner, literally! They are at the end of the month! Gotta pray hard and study harder so that I can pass them...

One more thing: National Day is this Sunday (very appropriate!), so let me be the first to say: HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY, S'PORE!!
